Surprise your family in this Christmas by Getting CPR Certification
You might feel overwhelmed when searching for CPR training courses, especially if this is your first attempt. There are two types of CPR certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR/AED. Both online and in-person courses can be taken through the CPR Life at CPR Life Trainer.
BLS VS CPR AED
BLS is the course that most medical professionals will need to take. For those who are already certified, we offer both the complete course and a renewal. The course includes CPR for 1 and 2, AED use, and Choking for All Ages. This certification is required for nurses, doctors, EMTs and physical therapists as well as most other workers in the medical industry.
CPR/AED is available for non-medical providers. It can be taken with or sans First Aid, depending on your needs. CPR/AED includes CPR (cardiopulmonary rescue) instructions and practice rounds. It also covers how to treat choking victims and how to use an AED.
You can decide if you need the First Aid course based on your job and employer. This covers basic medical emergencies such as allergic reactions, bites from insects, shock, and more. This type of training is required for many jobs, including personal trainers, home caretakers and teachers, as well as construction workers. You should confirm with your employer whether they require you to take First Aid as part of your CPR training.
In the near future, we will offer CPR Life Trainer.
